What is in one softgel
EPAX® Omega 3-9-11 belongs to EPAX® NovusLipid, Epax's line for marine fatty acids beyond EPA and DHA. The name lists the three fatty-acid families the oil declares: omega-3, omega-9 and omega-11. Omega-9 and omega-11 are long-chain monounsaturated fatty acids (LC-MUFAs), gondoic acid and cetoleic acid; the oil combines them with the omega-3s EPA and DHA.

Why omega-9 and omega-11
EPAX® Omega 3-9-11 comes from pelagic fish in the North Atlantic, where gondoic acid (omega-9) and cetoleic acid (omega-11) occur naturally alongside EPA and DHA.
Epax concentrates all four in one oil, so each softgel declares five values: omega-3, EPA, DHA, gondoic acid and cetoleic acid. Our other EPAX® softgels are specified by EPA and DHA.
Omega-3
EPA and DHA, the polyunsaturated fatty acids our other EPAX® softgels are specified by.
C20:5 and C22:6 · first double bond at carbon 3
Omega-9
Gondoic acid, a long-chain monounsaturated fatty acid (LC-MUFA) that occurs naturally in pelagic fish from the North Atlantic.
C20:1 · double bond at carbon 9
Omega-11
Cetoleic acid, a long-chain monounsaturated fatty acid (LC-MUFA) from the same fish, concentrated by Epax together with EPA and DHA.
C22:1 · double bond at carbon 11
The number in each name tells where the first double bond sits, counted from the omega end of the fatty-acid chain.

Epax protects the oil at every step: an oxygen-free, temperature-controlled chain from start to finish, purification without solvents or excessive heat, and natural antioxidants added to every batch.
